Why fawndog exists?

fawndog’s mission is to provide intelligence to solve common problems.

More and more information is being generated in the world every day and based on that, people make decisions that define their life. Hence it is imperative for users to make sense of this information. fawndog is focusing on empowering people by providing intelligence based on data points and context.

Working in data analytics over the years, I have come to realize that when corporations have come out with products for common people, at heart they are always focused on their own success first, which may not be aligned with the best interests of users. For example, while user app/website engagement is a key success metric for many corporations, time spent on the app may not always be in the best interest of the user's well-being. Most of the companies that help common users with data and intelligence products, provide these services at the expense of misuse of their data/privacy, and they openly lie about data exploitation and business models.

This is an effort to have a better way of doing it where users' well-being and companies' core KPIs and financial interests are aligned. With transparency in mind, fawndog will launch products that delight users.
